Day 1

On, up to the wilds of Rannoch Moor, through the swirling light, to explore dramatic and tragic Glencoe and its Three Sisters! Past Ben Nevis to absorb haunting Glen Garry. Hear about Highland history and about the romance and tragedy of the clans and clearances of Gaeldom! Follow majestic Glen Cluanie to spectacular Glen Shiel. View the Five Sisters of Kintail from a rugged mountain pass in Ratagan Forest! Past the magical 'Highlander' Castle before crossing to the misty Isle of Skye. Follow the giant granite of the conical Red Cuillin mountains to the mist-shrouded, mystical gabbro of the jagged Black Cuillin. Then settle & sleep in their shadow in Minginish!

Day 2

After the extremes of remote Glenbrittle, experience being immersed into the constantly shifting magical light conditions, colour contrasts & floating mist around the massive mystical mountainscapes of the Cuillin! On, up to the north, past the mythical Old Man of Storr. Hear about the island's dark history, diverse volcanic and glacial geology & rich folklore! Follow the magnificent Trotternish Ridge & spectacular coastal scenery - sparkling sea, gleaming islands, dark peninsulas & defining mountain contours! Day 1

After the wilds of Rannoch Moor, journey through the swirling light to explore Glencoe and its Three Sisters - dramatic & tragic! Passing Ben Nevis, follow the spectacular Caledonian Canal to the stunning Suidhe Chumein viewpoint above the mythical vastness of Loch Ness! Hear about the myths & Legends of 'Nessie' and about 'The Beast' - the other Loch Ness monster! Pass along the length of this dark & mysterious Loch to explore its deepest point at atmospheric Urquhart Castle. Discover 'Nessie-Spotting' absorb the Loch's unique conditions and hear about its 'Nessie-Friendly' geology!

On, up past Fannich Forest to view the beauty & magic of Loch Maree from meandering Glen Docherty. Escape through the dense forests & nature reserve into extreme wilderness! Past enchanted Loch Clair to the swooping, quartzite-topped mass of imposing Beinn Eighe. On, up through a landscape of glaciated corries, secret hollows, rocky hummocks, hidden pools, small lochans, atmospheric bogs and isolated communities! Back up-and-over the supernatural 'Pass of the Storms'. Experience the majestic land & seascapes and stunning wilderness panoramas - absorb shimmering Upper Loch Torridon, glimmering giant mountainscapes, glistening rock surfaces and gleaming headlands! Discover how this rugged and remote, wild mountain pass - normally inaccessible during the savages of winter - is confidently accessed all-year-round by the magic of 4X4!

Follow the threatening skies and dark & distant mountain outlines. Sense the extreme elements and forces of nature. Discover the plunging waterfalls at surging Alligin Gorge! Hear about the area's early history, people, spooky folklore and remote settlements, before escaping towards haunting BaosBheinn ('Mountain of the Wizard')!

Follow the aquamarine, turquoise and emerald shades and reflections of Upper Loch Torridon. Sense the unimportance of humankind in relation to these ancient and mythical landforms!
